Version 0.21


Hi all. Pushing out a small bug fix for the current build.

Bug Fix

  • Prior guard coins could be used for the rogue so long as there wasn't any rogue coins already out. This has been fixed.

Sorry for not pushing this sooner. The fix was greatly simple but our coder @chavezfk has been being pulled away for work quite a bit, and even after it was implemented, building with the bugfix kept being pushed aside by me.

Work is continuing on the newer version of the game. Currently the majority of it is in the overhaul and expansion of the sprite sheet. This aspect is very close to completion currently, likely we will be starting work on other aspects of the game as the sprite sheet finishes this week. There are some new mechanics that will need to be implemented with it, and also new animations that were originally cut from the VimJam due to time constraints but work shouldn't be too bumpy.

Some of the new features just with the sprites are

  • Multistory Levels
  • Buttons
  • Actual Doors
  • More Ground Tilesets
  • Chests for Items
  • More Wall Options
