A Rogue's First Heist » Devlog
Good news everyone! As the VimJam has ended we are now able to push updates to our game. Pushing this one as our first of hopefully several updates in the future. This main update is focused on quality of life changes.
So what does our update offer?
- Vision Cones and Hearing Circles for Guards
- A Splitting of the Coin's Influence (Left click is a coin for the Rogue, right click for the guards) Guard coins are a little buggy.
- More Consistent Guard Patterns
- Easier First Room
- Removal of the Double Pickup Bug
- New Pixel Perfect Camera (Hopefully helps with screen tearing)
Our plans for the future updates
- Better Web integration with new camera (Need to fullscreen for any reasonable play.)
- Cleaning up issues with Guard Coins
- Rogue Boredom Meter
- Pause Menu
- SFX and Music Separate Controls
- Actual Levels
- Tutorial Level
- Scores at ends of levels
- Switches
- Cleanup and Adding to Tileset
