Enemies and new Textures are Coming!


It's been a bit of a slow process with providing updates, and for that I want to apologize. We are currently a very small team, of about 3 people. We just recently introduced a second programmer, so we will be seeing how that goes.  Though, we are working on producing more content, updates, and faster progress very soon!

In news regarding updates, we have a few cool ones: 

The main enemy in the game, the Kobold, has reached the introductory stages of implementation. We will be releasing an update soon that will have the Kobolds able to mine resources alongside the player. Better act quick! As for now, there is no means of hurting the poor guys, so if they mine your resources, you're out of luck, so better mine fast!

Our art guy has been working on creating some new, updated textures for the materials we have in the game, so far we have sand, and stone updated, but as time progresses, we are excited to be able to show you  the new and improved art style. 

We have been working on a shading technique to allow us to have a more dynamic feeling lighting, even though the dynamics are only artificial.

With the release of the next public build, we will show off some of the features, with a new progress-update announcement! For now hang tight, there are some cool things in the works. 

Also! we have been working on making it so the build isn't flagged by Windows as something potentially dangerous. Mostly that involves the requirement that we have enough people say our program isn't malicious, but we have also been working on a certificate system that will allow windows to automatically trust our executable. Also coming in a future update.
